‘Tales from the Tape’ is a chronological history of our club, but from the players’ perspective. The book delves into the lives of the former players who have graced the Molineux turf proudly donning the Old Gold. Many you will remember and few you will have forgotten but they all have their own unique story of their careers and their service to our beloved Wolverhampton Wanderers. Read about the players who have lived the dream and played for their boyhood club or in others, by default of their football career have found themselves at home in Wolverhampton and under the floodlights of Molineux.
We also speak to the managers who have lived and died by their decisions in the hope of winning three points for our loyal following. ‘Tales from the Tape’ covers an era to suit all, spanning over 50 years across the glitzy 60’s, the swinging 70’s, the dark days of the 80’s and the recovering 90’s.
Many of these tales are previously untold and have remained trapped to the confinements of the Waterloo Road dressing room for years, so sit back and reminisce

Profits from the sale of this book will be donated to Breast Cancer Now and to the and The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust Charity, Neonatal Department.
